My client asked for a relaxing place for all its members to drink and dine in comfort and most importantly a place for both men and women to enjoy and feel welcomed. A place to socialise after a round of golf or simply to unwind and switch off from the busy day to day.
The existing space was dark, lifeless and masculine. The window dressings were dated, the patterned carpet was worn and the soft seating lacked comfort.
With the perfect blend of masculine and feminine patterns and colours the interior is now inviting to all. Horizontal panels upholstered in faux leather clad the perimeter of the bar, whilst flowered-back bar stools line in front, enticing its customers to sit and relax. The walnut panelled walls were painted and dark black beams were lightened. The new grey wood-effect tabletops with traditional black pedestal bases combine modern and traditional design in the most effective way, whilst the industrial style lighting completes the look.
The interior was treated to a unique bespoke mural, painted by myself.
A design and build project, priced using tradesmen I trust and completed to the highest finish. The client opted for extras during the install which we accommodated for and still kept within the required 4 week program.
Seeing the dramatic change taking place in the members lounge, the client also requested a mini makeover of the Golf Clubs main entrance. With a quick turn around, I was able to get tradesmen back on site to redecorate, lay new carpet and install new feature lighting and accessories. To complete the look I painted a welcome mural to finish the space off and give the club something unique and personalised for its members.
